This picture perfectly sums up so much of my outlook on life. Weird, considering it is a picture of a pot-plant and a watering can! 🙂

So, whats so special about it?? Well, im trying to portray “existence” in a picture. And even though at first glance, it looks like a general picture of some very common things that we see everyday, there is a much deeper meaning behind it if you look at it in a different light. I have always believed (but cannot prove), that we all somehow ‘exist’ for a reason…and even though those reasons differ from person to person, theres no doubt that there is a much greater picture to everything…..

In this picture, the pot-plant and watering can, compliment each other perfectly.  Its simple, one cannot exist without the other.

The pot-plant needs the watering can to survive, while the watering can, would not exist without the existence of the pot-plant.  Its a union, a partnership, a marriage. A purpose for their existence. While the pot-plant provides beauty and ‘ambience’ to the world, its the watering can, that provides the plant with the most important thing to keep it alive. If either one has to be removed from existence, it destroys the other. When you look at alot of things, through this new light, well… you kind of see how everything begins to exist for something else.

And there you have it…….. a perfect example of  a defined existence…..

  1. I can Honestly say that i have never looked twice at a picture like this before, firstly you have turned such a simple picture into a work of art, i would hang this in my living room, but the most important part of all is the story you told about the one not being able to exist without each other it was beautiful and very inspiring, ringing true even a pot plant needs a watering can to survive! I LOVE IT!!
